Security Policy
Purpose of this site
LegalQ&A publishes general legal information. It deliberately does not accept submissions, logins for readers, payments or file uploads. Removing those functions removes most of the ways a website normally puts visitors at risk.
Transport security
All pages are served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted in transit. We keep the TLS certificate current and renew it automatically.
Server and platform
The site runs on a managed hosting platform with a current supported PHP version and a maintained database. WordPress core, the theme and every plugin are kept up to date, and unused themes and plugins are removed rather than left dormant.
Access control
Administrative access is limited to named individuals at Lee Solicitors and their technical contractors. Access is by key-based authentication where supported, and administrative accounts are not shared.
Data held
This website does not collect personal data beyond standard server logs. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no comment facility, no user account and no payment processing on this site.
Reporting a concern
If you believe you have found a security issue on this website, please contact Lee Solicitors at the address published on our website before disclosing it publicly, so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond. We ask that you do not test for vulnerabilities in ways that could affect other users or the availability of the site.
Limits of this policy
No website can promise perfect security. We take reasonable and proportionate steps to protect this site, but you use it entirely at your own risk.
